How to create bribes

You can access the platform by navigating to vote.aqua.network/bribes.
Click Sign In, in the top right corner to sync a wallet to the platform.
As of writing, we have three methods available for users.
WalletConnect, which we highly recommend
Stellar Laboratory (Ledger, Trezor, Freighter, Albedo, or other tools
Secret Key
Once logged in, click the create bribe + button.
From here, you can select the market to reward, the token and amount you wish to offer as a bribe, and the week you wish to reward.
Bribes are offered for one week periods. Every Sunday the Aquarius bribe fund wallet collects bribes for the upcoming week and distributes them linearly over the week chosen to those voting on your desired market.
At the time of collection, Aquarius will make a path payment with the offered bribe for 100,000 AQUA to ensure the tokens offered have value. The 100K AQUA & the remainder of the offered tokens will be distributed linearly to voters of your selected market over the chosen week.
If a user offers, say, 1000 USDC as a bribe and the price of AQUA is $0.003, Aquarius will convert 300 USDC to AQUA at collection, so the bribes offered for the chosen market will be 100K AQUA from the conversion + 700 USDC.
Once you are happy everything is filled in correctly, click create bribe.
All bribes must be worth a minimum of 100K AQUA per week.
A validity check happens with Aquarius purchasing 100K AQUA using a path payment upon collection, helping ensure tokens used for bribes have value. The purchased 100K AQUA + the remainder of the chosen reward token gets distributed to voters. Aquarius returns rejected bribes to the sender.
Ensure the token you are using to reward voters will have a value of 100,000 AQUA at the time of collection.
Double check everything is correct before submitting the bribe to the network. Once submitted, you can’t edit or cancel the bribe.
Click add bribe again to complete your bribe submission.
Your bribe is now submitted and will distribute to voters on the week you chose for the market you selected. If Aquarius can’t convert the token used for the bribe to at least 100K AQUA at the time of collection, the bribe will be rejected and returned to the sender.
