What are the benefits of freezing AQUA?

Freezing AQUA into ICE comes with multiple benefits.

• An increase in voting power occurs for both liquidity market voting & governance voting when a user locks AQUA for longer periods of time. Users can gain up to ten times the voting power in the form of ICE tokens by locking for the maximum of three years or longer.

• ICE tokens, unlike AQUA, can be used simultaneously on liquidity market voting (aqua.network/vote) & governance voting (aqua.network/governance).

• Voting restrictions are also removed, with users able to change their liquidity votes anytime and able to retrieve their ICE immediately after a governance proposal ends.
