How much are network fees on Stellar?

Fees on Stellar cost a minimum of 0.00001 XLM. Occasionally, network activity can increase, and surge pricing mode is activated.

Users can tell the network the maximum fee they are willing to pay for a transaction. When users compete for ledger space in surge pricing mode, those with the highest maximum fee will be accepted into the ledgers first. The network will only use what is required, ensuring the user always gets the best fee price compared to their maximum fee.
